Obviously there will be changes in many offices following yesterday's election. Please pray for those who are now readying themselves to assume their offices in the coming year.
I would also encourage you to pray for those who are leaving office, whether by deciding not to run or by losing their attempt at reelection. Please consider writing your exiting leaders a note thanking them for their service to our state.
Our current elected officials will continue to serve in their offices until after the first of the year, after which the West Virginia Prayer Column will be updated with the names of our new leaders.
