The 2009 regular legislative session began last week. As 1 Timothy 2 commands, let us offer up entreaties, prayers, petitions, and thankgivings for our leaders during this busy time.
- Pray for them as they are away from their families.
- Pray for them as they take time away from business or careers.
- Pray for them as they deal with many important issues.
- Pray for their relationships with colleagues, lobbyists, and others in a stressful environment.
- Pray that our ministry will be an encouragement and that many might make it a priority to study the Word.
- Pray that we might have the opportunity to share the gospel with many during the session.
